I Miss You Poems
As I Miss You

 

As the seconds tic away,

There is nothing I can say

To ease the pain and misery

That being without you causes me.

I think about your gentle touch

And it makes me miss you so much.

I wonder if our day will dawn

When together we will be

And I sit and wonder why

I am not with you now.

I look up into the night sky

And gaze into the dark...

And there I see a bright blue star

Twinkling like your eyes

And I smile and think of when

Our hands and souls became one

And that is what I think of now

It helps me to go on

Knowing that someday soon

Our lives will intertwine.
